Trip to Pangkor Island

   
      Last school holiday,35 students of 2 Amanah went for a 3 days 2 nights to Pangkor Island.We went there by express bus.

      We departed from school at 8.30a.m.Upon,arrival at Lumut, we had our lunch,followed by a tour around Lumut.We saw a big naval bases and beautiful beach. After a ferry ride,we reached our destination.We checked into our chalet.In the evening,we attended a talk by Mr. Lam.We learned about Time Management.Then,we played beach games at the beach.At night,we had a barbeque and sing along session.Though we were tired,we have so much fun that day.

      On the second day,we had our lunch followed by a visit to a fishing village.In the afternoon,we had a seafood for lunch.In the evening,we went for  jungle trekking.After that,we attended a talk by Encik Azam.We learned about Team Building,so we know how to work together.At night,we had a buffet dinner near to our chalets.

       Before we went to home,we went for shopping at Pulau Pangkor.Then,we had a lunch and check out.Even though we felt tired,we still felt happy with this experience.I hope that our school will do again this activities in next year.

Visit My Grandfather

Dear Zikri,
       
         I want to tell you about what I do during my holiday. During my holiday, I had to go to my grandparents house at Tumpat, Kelantan. I do lot of interesting things at my grandparents house.

         First, I go to my grandparents house by bus and arrived there early. As soon I arrived there, I met my old friends and we went fishing at the river early in the morning. Then, I go to my grandparents house. My grandparents house is a wooden house on stilts. I sleep in that house.

         In the morning, I had my breakfast that prepared by grandmother. I eat 'nasi lemak'. 'Nasi lemak' is a rice cooked in coconut milk and eaten with chilli paste called 'sambal'. It was very delicious.

          In the evening, I helped grandfather to swap the lawn and fed the hens.

          On the next day, my grandfather and I go to the orchard to collected some fruits. I collected mangoesteen while grandfather collect durian. Then, we sold the fruits at my grandfathers stall. We earned profit of RM600 and my grandfather give me RM150 as rewards.

           That was how I spent my holiday.I hope you reply this letter about what you spent on your holiday.'

Main types of food in Malaysia.

Dear Keith,        

       How are you doing now? How is life treating you? I hope you are in the pink of health. In your last letter, you asked me about the Malaysian food. Now I will explain you about the main types of food in Malaysia.

         The most popular food in Malaysia is called 'nasi lemak'. 'Nasi' means rice while 'lemak' means fat. It is called 'lemak' because the rice cooked in coconut milk. It is also eaten with spicy sauces with fried anchovy and peanuts. We also eat with hard-boiled egg and cucumber. Normally 'nasi lemak' can be eaten for breakfast.

          Next, let's go to the Indian food called 'roti canai'. Previously, Indians like to eat it but now every races eating it. I just know that 'roti canai's ingredients were egg and flour. It has a delicious gravy such as 'dhal' or 'sambal'.

          Lastly, is the Chinese food called chicken rice. What I know it has a yellowish rice with the two types of sauce such as soy sauce and chilli sauce. They have soup and roasted chicken with it.

          I hope you will come to Malaysia and try our special cuisines.

Being a reporter.

                                Camelia is a reporter.She works at outdoors and indoors.She also works at the newspaper office.The hours she works are irregular hours.She writes reports on event such as fires or accident.She also interview important people such as minister,sports personalities,and                                                      entertainers.She enjoys her job because the work is interesting and                                                        challenging.

Being a veterinarian.

   Uncle Tina is a veterinarian.He works in animal clinic in the city.The hours he works are long and not regular hours.His job is quite difficult.He treats animals.As the animal cannot talk,he has to carry out a lot of test before he can give them medicines.He also goes to farm to treat animals like cows and goats.He enjoy his job because the job is challenging and he love animals.

Trip to Teluk Batik

     Teluk Batik is a popular tourist attraction in Perak.Many tourist go there every year.During the holidays ,Shahrul and his family stopped at Teluk Batik.It is 6 km from Lumut town.Shahrul and his family saw many people at the beach.The nature of the place is very beautiful with the white sandy beach and clear blue water.Shahrul and his family also had a picnic on the beach under a shady tree.They saw some people sunbathing while the other go sailing.Shahrul and his family also played on the beach and collected some sea-shell.They also swam in the clear blue water.They enjoy their vacation to Teluk Batik.

    Based on the story 'One is One And All Alone by Nicholas Fick,the character which I found interesting is Trish.This is because she ia a brilliant girl.She can clone herself and she is quick learn about cloning from the Voice Printer(VP).Trish is also a positive person.She knows that she is going to meet her mother though it taken 2 years to reach Trion.Trish also knows that her father always love her even her father was always busy as he is an Execcutive Officer of the spaceship.Lastly,Trish ia a problem-solver,For examples,she clones himself to have a same-age companion since she is very lonely in the spaceship.Trish decided to get rid of Clo by throwing her out thought the disposal hatch when she finds Clo was very irritating.
