Main types of food in Malaysia.
















Dear Keith,        

       How are you doing now? How is life treating you? I hope you are in the pink of health. In your last letter, you asked me about the Malaysian food. Now I will explain you about the main types of food in Malaysia.

         The most popular food in Malaysia is called 'nasi lemak'. 'Nasi' means rice while 'lemak' means fat. It is called 'lemak' because the rice cooked in coconut milk. It is also eaten with spicy sauces with fried anchovy and peanuts. We also eat with hard-boiled egg and cucumber. Normally 'nasi lemak' can be eaten for breakfast.

          Next, let's go to the Indian food called 'roti canai'. Previously, Indians like to eat it but now every races eating it. I just know that 'roti canai's ingredients were egg and flour. It has a delicious gravy such as 'dhal' or 'sambal'.

          Lastly, is the Chinese food called chicken rice. What I know it has a yellowish rice with the two types of sauce such as soy sauce and chilli sauce. They have soup and roasted chicken with it.

          I hope you will come to Malaysia and try our special cuisines.
